1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Peregrine Odyssey.
This Cancellation & Refund Policy ("Policy") explains the circumstances under which bookings for motorcycle expeditions organised by Peregrine Odyssey may be cancelled, modified, transferred, refunded, or credited.
Adventure travel requires substantial advance planning and financial commitments. Prior to every expedition, Peregrine Odyssey secures accommodation, motorcycle reservations, permits, logistics, support staff, local partners, and operational services. Many of these commitments involve costs that become non-recoverable well before the expedition commences.
Accordingly, this Policy seeks to balance the legitimate interests of participants with the operational realities of organising safe and professionally managed motorcycle expeditions.
By making a booking with Peregrine Odyssey, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy together with the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
2. PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY
The purpose of this Policy is to:
Explain the booking payment structure.
Set out the procedures for customer cancellations.
Describe refund eligibility.
Explain cancellation by Peregrine Odyssey.
Outline the treatment of Force Majeure events.
Describe booking transfers and modifications.
Explain refund processing timelines.
Ensure transparency and consistency in the handling of cancellations and refunds.
3. SCOPE
This Policy applies to:
All motorcycle expeditions organised by Peregrine Odyssey.
All bookings made through the official website.
Direct bookings made with Peregrine Odyssey.
Bookings made through authorised representatives where this Policy forms part of the booking terms.
This Policy applies regardless of whether the participant rides their own motorcycle or rents a motorcycle through Peregrine Odyssey.
4. DEFINITIONS
For the purposes of this Policy:
Booking means a reservation for participation in an expedition organised by Peregrine Odyssey.
Booking Amount means the initial payment required to reserve a seat on an expedition.
Balance Payment means the remaining amount payable after the Booking Amount.
Participant means any individual whose booking has been accepted by Peregrine Odyssey.
Expedition means any organised motorcycle tour, ride, or adventure experience conducted by Peregrine Odyssey.
Cancellation means the withdrawal of a confirmed booking before the commencement of an expedition.
Refund means the return of eligible monies paid by a participant in accordance with this Policy.
Future Travel Credit means a credit issued by Peregrine Odyssey that may be applied toward a future expedition, subject to its terms and validity.
Force Majeure Event means an event beyond the reasonable control of Peregrine Odyssey, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, landslides, earthquakes, floods, pandemics, government restrictions, border closures, civil unrest, war, terrorism, or any similar event that prevents the expedition from proceeding safely or lawfully.
5. RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER POLICIES
This Policy should be read together with:

Any expedition-specific conditions communicated before booking
In the event of any inconsistency relating specifically to cancellations or refunds, this Policy shall prevail to the extent of that inconsistency.
6. BOOKING CONFIRMATION
A booking shall be considered confirmed only when all of the following conditions have been satisfied:
a. The participant has submitted the required booking information.
b. The participant has accepted the applicable Terms & Conditions and this Policy.
c. The required Booking Amount has been successfully received by Peregrine Odyssey.
d. Peregrine Odyssey has issued a written booking confirmation.
Until these conditions are met, Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to decline or cancel a provisional booking without liability.
7. PAYMENT SCHEDULE
To secure a booking, participants are required to pay 50% of the total expedition price as the Booking Amount.
The remaining 50% Balance Payment must be received by Peregrine Odyssey no later than ten (10) calendar days before the scheduled departure date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to pay the Balance Payment by the applicable due date may result in cancellation of the booking in accordance with this Policy.
8. FAILURE TO COMPLETE PAYMENT
If the Balance Payment is not received by the due date:
a. Peregrine Odyssey may issue a payment reminder.
b. If payment remains outstanding after any reminder period, Peregrine Odyssey may cancel the booking.
c. Such cancellation shall be treated as a customer cancellation occurring on the date the booking is cancelled for non-payment.
d. Any refund shall be determined in accordance with the Refund Schedule contained in this Policy.
Peregrine Odyssey shall not be responsible for any losses arising from a participant's failure to complete payment within the required timeframe.
9. CUSTOMER CANCELLATION
Participants may cancel a confirmed booking by providing written notice to Peregrine Odyssey through the official communication channels.
A cancellation shall become effective only upon receipt and acknowledgement of the cancellation request by Peregrine Odyssey.
Refund eligibility shall be determined based on:
The scheduled expedition departure date;
The date on which the cancellation request is received;
The Refund Schedule contained in this Policy;
Any non-recoverable costs already incurred where applicable;
Applicable law.
Telephone conversations or informal communications shall not constitute official cancellation requests unless subsequently confirmed in writing.
10. REFUND SCHEDULE
Subject to this Policy, customer cancellations shall ordinarily be eligible for the following refunds:

The applicable refund shall be calculated based on the total expedition price paid by the participant, subject to any deductions expressly permitted under this Policy or required by law.
11. BOOKING TRANSFERS
A participant who is unable to attend an expedition may request to transfer their confirmed booking to another eligible individual.
Such transfer requests:
Must be submitted in writing before the expedition.
Are subject to approval by Peregrine Odyssey.
Require the replacement participant to satisfy all eligibility requirements, including the submission of necessary documentation and acceptance of the applicable Terms & Conditions.
May be declined where operational, legal, or safety considerations reasonably require.
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to request any additional information necessary to process the transfer.
12. BOOKING MODIFICATIONS
Participants may request modifications to their confirmed booking, including changes to participant information or other booking details.
Modification requests are subject to operational feasibility and may not always be possible after reservations, permits, accommodation, or logistical arrangements have been confirmed.
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to decline modification requests where implementation is not reasonably practicable.
13. GROUP BOOKINGS
Where multiple participants are booked together under a single booking, cancellation by one participant shall not automatically cancel the remaining participants' bookings.
Refunds for individual participants shall be determined independently in accordance with this Policy unless a separate written agreement applies to the group booking.
14. NO-SHOW POLICY
A participant who fails to appear at the designated reporting location, departure point, or scheduled commencement of the expedition without prior written cancellation shall be considered a "No-Show."
No-Show participants shall not ordinarily be entitled to any refund.
15. CUSTOMER WITHDRAWAL BEFORE DEPARTURE
Participants who voluntarily decide not to participate after their booking has been confirmed shall be regarded as having cancelled their booking.
Refund eligibility shall be determined solely in accordance with the Refund Schedule contained in this Policy.
Participants are encouraged to notify Peregrine Odyssey of any cancellation as early as possible in order to maximise any refund eligibility available under this Policy.
16. CANCELLATION BY PEREGRINE ODYSSEY
Peregrine Odyssey is committed to operating every expedition as scheduled. However, there may be exceptional situations where it becomes necessary to postpone, modify, or cancel an expedition in the interests of participant safety, legal compliance, operational feasibility, or circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control.
Where an expedition is cancelled by Peregrine Odyssey for reasons within its operational control, affected participants shall be offered one of the following remedies:
A full refund of all eligible payments received by Peregrine Odyssey; or
A Future Travel Credit equal to the eligible amount paid, which may be applied towards another expedition conducted by Peregrine Odyssey, subject to its validity and applicable booking conditions.
The choice between these options shall rest with the participant unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Peregrine Odyssey shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential expenses incurred by participants, including but not limited to airfare, train tickets, bus tickets, hotel reservations, visa costs, travel insurance premiums, equipment purchases, loss of wages, or any other personal expenditure unless required by applicable law.
17. OPERATIONAL CANCELLATIONS
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to cancel an expedition where, in its reasonable opinion, the expedition cannot be conducted safely or responsibly.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
Insufficient number of confirmed participants.
Serious safety concerns.
Sudden road closures.
Major landslides.
Unsafe weather conditions.
Failure of critical logistical arrangements.
Unavailability of key support services.
Government or military restrictions.
Health or safety emergencies affecting expedition staff.
Such decisions shall always prioritise participant safety.
18. FORCE MAJEURE
A Force Majeure Event means any event beyond the reasonable control of Peregrine Odyssey that prevents, delays, interrupts, or materially affects the safe operation of an expedition.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
Earthquakes
Floods
Cyclones
Landslides
Avalanches
Heavy snowfall
Cloudbursts
Forest fires
Pandemics
Epidemics
Government restrictions
Border closures
Military operations
Curfews
Civil unrest
Terrorist activities
War
Political instability
Acts of God
Major power failures
Fuel shortages
Closure of national highways
Mandatory evacuation orders
In such circumstances Peregrine Odyssey may, at its sole discretion:
Reschedule the expedition;
Modify the itinerary;
Delay departure;
Issue a Future Travel Credit; or
Determine any refund after accounting for genuine, non-recoverable costs already incurred.
Every reasonable effort shall be made to minimise inconvenience to participants.
19. ITINERARY MODIFICATIONS
Motorcycle expeditions operate in remote regions where conditions may change rapidly.
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to modify:
Riding routes;
Daily schedules;
Accommodation;
Meal arrangements;
Support vehicles;
Fuel stops;
Activity schedules;
Rest locations;
Expedition duration,
where reasonably necessary for safety, weather conditions, government directives, road conditions, medical emergencies, or operational requirements.
Such modifications shall not automatically entitle participants to refunds.
20. PARTICIPANT WITHDRAWAL AFTER COMMENCEMENT
If a participant voluntarily withdraws after an expedition has commenced, no refund shall ordinarily be payable.
This includes withdrawal due to:
Personal preference;
Fatigue;
Fear of riding;
Homesickness;
Change of travel plans;
Work commitments;
Family commitments;
Personal disagreements.
Where withdrawal occurs due to illness or injury, Peregrine Odyssey shall make reasonable efforts to assist with onward arrangements, but all associated costs shall remain the participant's responsibility unless otherwise covered by applicable insurance or required by law.
21. REMOVAL FROM THE EXPEDITION
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to remove any participant from an expedition without refund where their behaviour creates an unreasonable risk to themselves, other participants, staff, or the public.
Examples include:
Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
Dangerous riding;
Reckless overtaking;
Violence;
Harassment;
Criminal conduct;
Refusal to follow Road Captain instructions;
Possession of illegal substances;
Deliberate damage to property;
Conduct likely to endanger the expedition.
Removal under this clause shall not entitle the participant to any refund.
22. NON-REFUNDABLE COSTS
Certain costs become irrevocably committed before departure.
These may include:
Government permits;
Protected area permits;
Accommodation reservations;
Motorcycle reservations;
Support vehicle bookings;
Local guide arrangements;
Recovery vehicle bookings;
Event tickets;
Administrative processing costs;
Banking charges;
Payment gateway charges, where not refunded to Peregrine Odyssey.
Where such costs have already been incurred and cannot reasonably be recovered, Peregrine Odyssey may deduct them from any refund otherwise payable, provided the deduction is lawful and clearly explained.
23. FUTURE TRAVEL CREDIT
Where Peregrine Odyssey offers a Future Travel Credit:
It may be used only for eligible Peregrine Odyssey expeditions.
It is non-transferable unless Peregrine Odyssey expressly agrees otherwise.
It cannot ordinarily be exchanged for cash.
Any price difference between the original expedition and the new expedition shall be payable by the participant or credited, as applicable.
Additional terms relating to validity or redemption may apply and will be communicated at the time of issue.
24. REFUND PROCESS
Eligible refund requests shall be processed after:
Verification of booking;
Confirmation of payment received;
Review of applicable cancellation timelines;
Assessment of any non-recoverable costs, where applicable.
Approved refunds shall ordinarily be processed within 7โ15 business days from the date of approval. Actual credit timelines may vary depending on the participant's bank, card issuer, payment provider, or other financial institution.
25. PAYMENT GATEWAY REFUNDS
Where payments have been made through Razorpay or another authorised payment service provider, approved refunds shall ordinarily be processed back to the original payment method used for the transaction, where feasible.
Processing times may vary depending on the policies and timelines of the payment service provider and the participant's financial institution.
Any payment gateway charges that are not refunded to Peregrine Odyssey may, where disclosed and permitted by applicable law, be deducted from the refund amount.
26. FRAUDULENT CLAIMS
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to reject refund requests arising from:
Fraudulent bookings;
Identity misrepresentation;
Chargeback abuse;
Submission of false documentation;
Attempts to obtain duplicate refunds;
Any other dishonest or unlawful conduct.
Where appropriate, Peregrine Odyssey may report suspected fraudulent activity to the relevant authorities or payment service providers.
27. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If a participant has concerns regarding a cancellation or refund decision, they are encouraged to contact Peregrine Odyssey promptly to seek an amicable resolution.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved through good-faith discussions, it shall be governed by the dispute resolution provisions set out in the Terms & Conditions and subject to the applicable laws of India.
28. AMENDMENTS TO THIS POLICY
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to amend, update, or revise this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time.
The version in effect at the time a booking is confirmed shall generally govern that booking unless a change is required by applicable law or is expressly agreed with the participant.

Booking Transfers
Bookings may be transferred to another eligible participant with prior written intimation and approval by Peregrine Odyssey.
Withdrawal After Departure
No refund is ordinarily available if a participant voluntarily leaves an expedition after it has commenced.

20. PARTICIPANT WITHDRAWAL AFTER COMMENCEMENT
If a participant voluntarily withdraws after an expedition has commenced, no refund shall ordinarily be payable.
This includes withdrawal due to:
Personal preference;
Fatigue;
Fear of riding;
Homesickness;
Change of travel plans;
Work commitments;
Family commitments;
Personal disagreements.
Where withdrawal occurs due to illness or injury, Peregrine Odyssey shall make reasonable efforts to assist with onward arrangements, but all associated costs shall remain the participant's responsibility unless otherwise covered by applicable insurance or required by law.
21. REMOVAL FROM THE EXPEDITION
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to remove any participant from an expedition without refund where their behaviour creates an unreasonable risk to themselves, other participants, staff, or the public.
Examples include:
Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
Dangerous riding;
Reckless overtaking;
Violence;
Harassment;
Criminal conduct;
Refusal to follow Road Captain instructions;
Possession of illegal substances;
Deliberate damage to property;
Conduct likely to endanger the expedition.
Removal under this clause shall not entitle the participant to any refund.
22. NON-REFUNDABLE COSTS
Certain costs become irrevocably committed before departure.
These may include:
Government permits;
Protected area permits;
Accommodation reservations;
Motorcycle reservations;
Support vehicle bookings;
Local guide arrangements;
Recovery vehicle bookings;
Event tickets;
Administrative processing costs;
Banking charges;
Payment gateway charges, where not refunded to Peregrine Odyssey.
Where such costs have already been incurred and cannot reasonably be recovered, Peregrine Odyssey may deduct them from any refund otherwise payable, provided the deduction is lawful and clearly explained.
23. FUTURE TRAVEL CREDIT
Where Peregrine Odyssey offers a Future Travel Credit:
It may be used only for eligible Peregrine Odyssey expeditions.
It is non-transferable unless Peregrine Odyssey expressly agrees otherwise.
It cannot ordinarily be exchanged for cash.
Any price difference between the original expedition and the new expedition shall be payable by the participant or credited, as applicable.
Additional terms relating to validity or redemption may apply and will be communicated at the time of issue.
24. REFUND PROCESS
Eligible refund requests shall be processed after:
Verification of booking;
Confirmation of payment received;
Review of applicable cancellation timelines;
Assessment of any non-recoverable costs, where applicable.
Approved refunds shall ordinarily be processed within 7โ15 business days from the date of approval. Actual credit timelines may vary depending on the participant's bank, card issuer, payment provider, or other financial institution.
25. PAYMENT GATEWAY REFUNDS
Where payments have been made through Razorpay or another authorised payment service provider, approved refunds shall ordinarily be processed back to the original payment method used for the transaction, where feasible.
Processing times may vary depending on the policies and timelines of the payment service provider and the participant's financial institution.
Any payment gateway charges that are not refunded to Peregrine Odyssey may, where disclosed and permitted by applicable law, be deducted from the refund amount.
26. FRAUDULENT CLAIMS
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to reject refund requests arising from:
Fraudulent bookings;
Identity misrepresentation;
Chargeback abuse;
Submission of false documentation;
Attempts to obtain duplicate refunds;
Any other dishonest or unlawful conduct.
Where appropriate, Peregrine Odyssey may report suspected fraudulent activity to the relevant authorities or payment service providers.
27. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If a participant has concerns regarding a cancellation or refund decision, they are encouraged to contact Peregrine Odyssey promptly to seek an amicable resolution.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved through good-faith discussions, it shall be governed by the dispute resolution provisions set out in the Terms & Conditions and subject to the applicable laws of India.
28. AMENDMENTS TO THIS POLICY
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to amend, update, or revise this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time.
The version in effect at the time a booking is confirmed shall generally govern that booking unless a change is required by applicable law or is expressly agreed with the participant.

1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Peregrine Odyssey.
This Cancellation & Refund Policy ("Policy") explains the circumstances under which bookings for motorcycle expeditions organised by Peregrine Odyssey may be cancelled, modified, transferred, refunded, or credited.
Adventure travel requires substantial advance planning and financial commitments. Prior to every expedition, Peregrine Odyssey secures accommodation, motorcycle reservations, permits, logistics, support staff, local partners, and operational services. Many of these commitments involve costs that become non-recoverable well before the expedition commences.
Accordingly, this Policy seeks to balance the legitimate interests of participants with the operational realities of organising safe and professionally managed motorcycle expeditions.
By making a booking with Peregrine Odyssey, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy together with the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
2. PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY
The purpose of this Policy is to:
Explain the booking payment structure.
Set out the procedures for customer cancellations.
Describe refund eligibility.
Explain cancellation by Peregrine Odyssey.
Outline the treatment of Force Majeure events.
Describe booking transfers and modifications.
Explain refund processing timelines.
Ensure transparency and consistency in the handling of cancellations and refunds.
3. SCOPE
This Policy applies to:
All motorcycle expeditions organised by Peregrine Odyssey.
All bookings made through the official website.
Direct bookings made with Peregrine Odyssey.
Bookings made through authorised representatives where this Policy forms part of the booking terms.
This Policy applies regardless of whether the participant rides their own motorcycle or rents a motorcycle through Peregrine Odyssey.
4. DEFINITIONS
For the purposes of this Policy:
Booking means a reservation for participation in an expedition organised by Peregrine Odyssey.
Booking Amount means the initial payment required to reserve a seat on an expedition.
Balance Payment means the remaining amount payable after the Booking Amount.
Participant means any individual whose booking has been accepted by Peregrine Odyssey.
Expedition means any organised motorcycle tour, ride, or adventure experience conducted by Peregrine Odyssey.
Cancellation means the withdrawal of a confirmed booking before the commencement of an expedition.
Refund means the return of eligible monies paid by a participant in accordance with this Policy.
Future Travel Credit means a credit issued by Peregrine Odyssey that may be applied toward a future expedition, subject to its terms and validity.
Force Majeure Event means an event beyond the reasonable control of Peregrine Odyssey, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, landslides, earthquakes, floods, pandemics, government restrictions, border closures, civil unrest, war, terrorism, or any similar event that prevents the expedition from proceeding safely or lawfully.
5. RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER POLICIES
This Policy should be read together with:

Any expedition-specific conditions communicated before booking
In the event of any inconsistency relating specifically to cancellations or refunds, this Policy shall prevail to the extent of that inconsistency.
6. BOOKING CONFIRMATION
A booking shall be considered confirmed only when all of the following conditions have been satisfied:
a. The participant has submitted the required booking information.
b. The participant has accepted the applicable Terms & Conditions and this Policy.
c. The required Booking Amount has been successfully received by Peregrine Odyssey.
d. Peregrine Odyssey has issued a written booking confirmation.
Until these conditions are met, Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to decline or cancel a provisional booking without liability.
7. PAYMENT SCHEDULE
To secure a booking, participants are required to pay 50% of the total expedition price as the Booking Amount.
The remaining 50% Balance Payment must be received by Peregrine Odyssey no later than ten (10) calendar days before the scheduled departure date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to pay the Balance Payment by the applicable due date may result in cancellation of the booking in accordance with this Policy.
8. FAILURE TO COMPLETE PAYMENT
If the Balance Payment is not received by the due date:
a. Peregrine Odyssey may issue a payment reminder.
b. If payment remains outstanding after any reminder period, Peregrine Odyssey may cancel the booking.
c. Such cancellation shall be treated as a customer cancellation occurring on the date the booking is cancelled for non-payment.
d. Any refund shall be determined in accordance with the Refund Schedule contained in this Policy.
Peregrine Odyssey shall not be responsible for any losses arising from a participant's failure to complete payment within the required timeframe.
9. CUSTOMER CANCELLATION
Participants may cancel a confirmed booking by providing written notice to Peregrine Odyssey through the official communication channels.
A cancellation shall become effective only upon receipt and acknowledgement of the cancellation request by Peregrine Odyssey.
Refund eligibility shall be determined based on:
The scheduled expedition departure date;
The date on which the cancellation request is received;
The Refund Schedule contained in this Policy;
Any non-recoverable costs already incurred where applicable;
Applicable law.
Telephone conversations or informal communications shall not constitute official cancellation requests unless subsequently confirmed in writing.
10. REFUND SCHEDULE
Subject to this Policy, customer cancellations shall ordinarily be eligible for the following refunds:

A participant who is unable to attend an expedition may request to transfer their confirmed booking to another eligible individual.
Such transfer requests:
Must be submitted in writing before the expedition.
Are subject to approval by Peregrine Odyssey.
Require the replacement participant to satisfy all eligibility requirements, including the submission of necessary documentation and acceptance of the applicable Terms & Conditions.
May be declined where operational, legal, or safety considerations reasonably require.
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to request any additional information necessary to process the transfer.
12. BOOKING MODIFICATIONS
Participants may request modifications to their confirmed booking, including changes to participant information or other booking details.
Modification requests are subject to operational feasibility and may not always be possible after reservations, permits, accommodation, or logistical arrangements have been confirmed.
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to decline modification requests where implementation is not reasonably practicable.
13. GROUP BOOKINGS
Where multiple participants are booked together under a single booking, cancellation by one participant shall not automatically cancel the remaining participants' bookings.
Refunds for individual participants shall be determined independently in accordance with this Policy unless a separate written agreement applies to the group booking.
14. NO-SHOW POLICY
A participant who fails to appear at the designated reporting location, departure point, or scheduled commencement of the expedition without prior written cancellation shall be considered a "No-Show."
No-Show participants shall not ordinarily be entitled to any refund.
15. CUSTOMER WITHDRAWAL BEFORE DEPARTURE
Participants who voluntarily decide not to participate after their booking has been confirmed shall be regarded as having cancelled their booking.
Refund eligibility shall be determined solely in accordance with the Refund Schedule contained in this Policy.
Participants are encouraged to notify Peregrine Odyssey of any cancellation as early as possible in order to maximise any refund eligibility available under this Policy.
16. CANCELLATION BY PEREGRINE ODYSSEY
Peregrine Odyssey is committed to operating every expedition as scheduled. However, there may be exceptional situations where it becomes necessary to postpone, modify, or cancel an expedition in the interests of participant safety, legal compliance, operational feasibility, or circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control.
Where an expedition is cancelled by Peregrine Odyssey for reasons within its operational control, affected participants shall be offered one of the following remedies:
A full refund of all eligible payments received by Peregrine Odyssey; or
A Future Travel Credit equal to the eligible amount paid, which may be applied towards another expedition conducted by Peregrine Odyssey, subject to its validity and applicable booking conditions.
The choice between these options shall rest with the participant unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Peregrine Odyssey shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential expenses incurred by participants, including but not limited to airfare, train tickets, bus tickets, hotel reservations, visa costs, travel insurance premiums, equipment purchases, loss of wages, or any other personal expenditure unless required by applicable law.
17. OPERATIONAL CANCELLATIONS
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to cancel an expedition where, in its reasonable opinion, the expedition cannot be conducted safely or responsibly.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
Insufficient number of confirmed participants.
Serious safety concerns.
Sudden road closures.
Major landslides.
Unsafe weather conditions.
Failure of critical logistical arrangements.
Unavailability of key support services.
Government or military restrictions.
Health or safety emergencies affecting expedition staff.
Such decisions shall always prioritise participant safety.
18. FORCE MAJEURE
A Force Majeure Event means any event beyond the reasonable control of Peregrine Odyssey that prevents, delays, interrupts, or materially affects the safe operation of an expedition.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
Earthquakes
Floods
Cyclones
Landslides
Avalanches
Heavy snowfall
Cloudbursts
Forest fires
Pandemics
Epidemics
Government restrictions
Border closures
Military operations
Curfews
Civil unrest
Terrorist activities
War
Political instability
Acts of God
Major power failures
Fuel shortages
Closure of national highways
Mandatory evacuation orders
In such circumstances Peregrine Odyssey may, at its sole discretion:
Reschedule the expedition;
Modify the itinerary;
Delay departure;
Issue a Future Travel Credit; or
Determine any refund after accounting for genuine, non-recoverable costs already incurred.
Every reasonable effort shall be made to minimise inconvenience to participants.
19. ITINERARY MODIFICATIONS
Motorcycle expeditions operate in remote regions where conditions may change rapidly.
Peregrine Odyssey reserves the right to modify:
Riding routes;
Daily schedules;
Accommodation;
Meal arrangements;
Support vehicles;
Fuel stops;
Activity schedules;
Rest locations;
Expedition duration,
where reasonably necessary for safety, weather conditions, government directives, road conditions, medical emergencies, or operational requirements.
